Bowen, Bertha (6 AUG 1883)
Married, at the residence of J. W. Wicker, in this village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Aug. 6th, 1883, by N. P. Peterson, Esq., Mr. J. P. Harvey of Unity, Wis., and Miss Bertha Bowen of Plainfield, Wis.
The Phonograph refrained, on request, from publishing the above at the time it occurred, but its congratulations of the happy couple were none the less hearty. A box of excellent cigars recently received from Pet, with word that all injunctions were declared off, allows us now to tender our best wishes in a more open manner. Pet, as we puff these fragrant havanas, we shall think of your charming bride and wish you many years of unalloyed happiness. The happy couple will make Unity their home for the present.
